100 Days of Learning and More

We are all 100 days smarter here at McKinley School.  Here are the hallway pictures for our 100th day of school.  We went out in the hallway with kindergarten and second grade and did 100 exercises and sang our "100 Days of Learning" song.

Here is the new app everyone wants to play on the ipad.  

It is with manipulatives from Tiggly that work on the ipad with apps that are free or purchased.  Cookie Monster making work cookies is all the rage this week!

After the students decide which vowel will make a real word they place that vowel manipulative on the ipad.  The ipad reads their choice and makes the word into a cookie.  They decorate it, mix it, reread it and later eat it or feed it to cookie monster.  Really an engaging, entertaining, educational app!
