The International Space Station

The class learned that many countries cooperate to manage and build the International Space Station.  We learned what the vocabulary word "international" means.  We decided to hang all the flags of the participating nations just like on the ISS!  Of course we had to have a goofy picture to include on the blog, also.

Cooperation is a big word that is necessary on the ISS for all the nations to get along.
 Can you say silly?
Hanging the flags like the ISS.

We are learning "space" vocabulary so we can talk like the astronauts, mission control, scientists, engineers, and astronomers what are working on the Orion Mission.  This book from NASA is awesome and we each have our own to read and color.  Click on the picture if you want the full color version, too.
