Birds are Interesting

Birds are interesting.  Birds sing.  Birds build nests. Birds lay eggs.  Red robins lay blue eggs. Birds are pretty and have colorful feathers.  They are interesting because how they fly is really pretty.  They eat worms and fish.  They are all different sizes.  Birds migrate in the winter.  Some birds stay for the snow though.  The birds come back after winter and are outside in the morning to sing and wake us up.  We love birds!

Gym Class

Mrs. Morris is the gym class teacher.  The gym class is really fun.  We get to do all kinds of games and fun things. We get to play, run, and walk around.  We like freeze tag.  We like to get lots of excercise by doing pushups, situps, and jumping jacks.  We like running around.  We get a lot of energy playing flag football.  We were playing with a parachute this week. We cool off by walking laps.  After all our fun games we settle down and go back to class.

Today is Friday

We had a 2 hour delay because of snow and ice. Today was Reward Party day. Everybody that brought things in got to play with them during the party.    We all did a test this morning.  We all did math after recess.  We measured with a 6 inch ruler.  We measured a lot of things from our desk.  We couldn't go outside today because it was too cold.  We like school!  School is awesome and fantastic.

Thursdays in Our Room

On Thursdays we go to gym and library.  We go to gym before the second recess. Today we couldn't go outside.  It was too. cold. We always do math and reading. In the morning we always do morning work.  We take our bathroom break after reading.  In the library after we get done listening to the teacher we get to color and cut out different projects.  We get to read books there too.  We read a lot of books.  Thursdays are awesome!
